New Brunswick has said at least 10 per cent of children are not fully vaccinated against measles.

Alberta is home to just under five million people, while the United States population is more than 341 million.

A news release says the case in Sussex, N.B., involves a person who travelled to the area from another province between June 22 and June 23.

The largest age group infected is among those aged five to 17, at 49 per cent, with those between ages 18 to 54 in second at 30 per cent.

Alberta reported yesterday that 1,230 people have been infected with the highly contagious disease since March.
